Amelia has been described by ABC Classic as “a strong vocal presence in Australian video game music”, which goes to show, game music & soundtrack music can be appreciated and celebrated by avid classical music lovers. The landscape is changing, and as a lover of all genres, Amelia is at the forefront of the action. Amelia features regularly on soundtracks by award winning composer Kevin Penkin, including anime Star Wars: Visions on Disney+, Eden on Netflix, The Rising of the Shield Hero & Made in Abyss seasons 1 & 2 on Crunchyroll, and video game Grow: The Song of the Evertree. Amelia features on recent smash-hit indie game Slay The Princess, with a soundtrack by Brandon Boone.

Amelia is currently recording from a home studio, and available for work.

Amelia appears as the character Marissa in Hollow Knight, the internationally highly acclaimed Australian video game. Her vocals in City of Tears have been described as ‘haunting yet powerful’, and with the support of Christoper Larkin’s score, tend to evoke a deep sense of nostalgia, hope and longing. 

BAFTA-nominated composer Kevin Penkin has been a central figure in Amelia’s career, choosing her soaring and heartfelt vocals for popular anime series including Star Wars: Visions, Netflix original Eden, Made in Abyss, Norn9 and The Rising of the Shield Hero. 

 

 

Live performance in the realm of Games and Anime include singing in the global sensation Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy, and being the guest solo artist in UnderSCORE 2018 and 2019, Australia’s first symphonic concert featuring video game music by Australian composers. UnderSCORE 2019 was presented as part of PAX, Australia’s largest video game convention, with an audience of over 1300 music lovers.

Amelia is honoured to be a featured vocalist in the music video Back to You, alongside many stellar vocalists and musicians. The video is a collaboration with Animator Supporters, a non-profit organization that seeks to improve the lives of financially struggling Japanese animators through the help of anime fans.
